In February 2023, L.A. City Council passed a motion telling the Housing Department to write a report on RUBS within 60 days.
Nearly three years later, that still hasn’t happened…In August 2025, the Virgil Square Tenants Association was told that it would be done by the end of that month.
Early December 2025, they were told the same thing.
On December 29, 2025 a report was finallly released.
